Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Five Iraqi Army soldiers were either killed or wounded within an armed attack to the north of Tikrit city.Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a vehicle that carries several elements of the Iraqi Army soldiers in Hejaj area of southern Beji district of northern Tikrit city.””The armed attack resulted in killing two soldiers and wounding the others, one of them is an officer with a Captain rank,” the source added, noting that ”The victims were heading towards their house to enjoy their vacation,””The security forces rushed to the incident area transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
