IA checkpoint shelled in northern Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army checkpoint was shelled with mortar shells in northern Babel on Wednesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “4 shells hit the checkpoint headquarters in al-Jazra area of Jurf al-Sakhar district,” noting that “The attack did not result in casualties.”

“The investigations showed that the shells were launched from Amiriyat al-Fallujah,” the source concluded.
