Villages of northern Babel subject to continuous blasts

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The security committee within Babel Provincial Council declared that the villages of northern Babel province are subject to continuous blasts.The Head of the Security Committee, Thamer al-Hamadani, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Though the security situation in Mussayib district is relatively stable, the explosions by Improvised Explosive Devices and mortar shells falling continue in the villages that situated between Amiriyat al-Fallujah in Anbar province and Jurf al-Sakher of northern Mussayib.””The terrorist blasts resulted in killing an officer of the Iraqi Army/ Eighth Division in Buhairat area,” the statement concluded.”The Army forces speared throughout Mahawil and Mussayib districts did not register any security breaches on Saturday,” Hamadani added, stressing that ”The news which were reported by some media outlets regarding killing a Colonel and several soldiers in Khuder area are totally groundless.” END
