Wasit PC threatens to complain to IFC over not including 5 dollars within Petro-dollar law

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) Wasit Provincial Council threatened to complain to the Iraqi Federal Court over not including 5 dollars within the Petro-dollar law where it specified one dollar only.

The Deputy Chairman of Wasit PC, Turki al-Ghinemawi, stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Law 21 states that there is not administration centralism and the sets the mechanism of the relation between the government and the provinces not related to a region in order to bring justice to those provinces.”

“The Council of Ministers had to specify five dollars not one only which is a clear constitutional breach,” he added.

“We will not leave our rights and will contest this law in the IFC and the people of Wasit will demonstrate calling for their rights,” he concluded.
