MP: Government lacks experience in settling law drafts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Amir al-Kinani, of the Parliamentary Legal Committee criticized the legal formula of settling the law drafts sent from the government to the parliament.

Kinani stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The government does not have a specialized side to set the law drafts as the Council of Minister has inexperienced advisors,” noting that “There is a big defect in settling the law drafts such as the General Budget la.”

“The Retirement law is to limit the range between the retirement salaries, but the law draft kept some of them that are related to the Prime Minister and his Deputies, President and his Deputies where it amended the salary of the parliament Speaker and his Deputies only,” he concluded.
