Sadrist MP criticizes decision to bring officers of former IA to service

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Yousuf al-Tayi, of Ahrar bloc MPs who supported the decision of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, over brining back the officers of former Iraqi Army to service.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Some MPs praised this decision over recruiting the officers of the former regime army while this is not their business in my opinion.”

He called “To prevent the return of the former regime supporters to service.”

Earlier, Ministry of Defense announced Maliki’s approval over recruiting 55 officers of former Iraqi Army.
