Wasit demands Presidency to follow up applying 5 Petro-dollar law

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The Local Government in Wasit province demanded the Presidency of the State to follow up the Government in applying the 5 Petro-dollar Law.

The Local Government in Wasit province reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The local government is demanding the Presidency of the State to follow up the Government in applying the new legal legislations, especially the $5 Law.”

The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki doubted that provinces will manage to spend the oil allocations funds within his weekly speech on Wednesday saying that ”The funds are stacked at the provinces and they are not spending any thus their right in the $5 law is exist and they will receive it when they earn it by spending their funds in the reconstitution and developing their provinces.”

”Wasit local government threatened to complain to judiciary authority if the Government deducted the $5 Law,” the statement concluded.
