Adeeb, British delegation discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ali al-Adeeb, met the deputy British Ambassador to Iraq, Mark Brison, the director of the British Cultural council, Jim Skart, and several members of the British Embassy in Iraq on Thursday.Adeeb reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting tackled the means of promoting bilateral relations, especially, in terms of scientific and educational cooperation.””During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of opening a branch of the British University and a British Cultural Center in Iraq,” the statement added.”Adeeb called the British side to facilitate procedures of admitting the Iraqi students at the British Universities through granting them the visa as soon as possible,” the statement concluded. \END\
