BOC: Car bombs, IED defused, wanted individuals netted in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces managed to defuse two car bombs and an Improvised Explosive Device in Baghdad during the last 24 hours.

A statement by Baghdad Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “A force from the Iraqi Army 6th Division managed to seize a car bomb in northern Baghdad and defused another in al-Liqa square.”

“The security forces dismantled an IED in Abu Mnisier area and captured a number of wanted individuals according to Article 4 of Anti-Terrorism law,” the source concluded.
