IHEC chief survives assassination in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The chief official of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Kirkuk survived assassination on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting IHEC head in Kirkuk, Firhad Talabani, in southern Kirkuk.”

“The IED explosion did not result in casualties but material damages,” the source concluded.
