Conference held in Rufai demanding to be announced as province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Rufai district witnessed the first foundation conference on the occasion of announcing the district as a province named (Sumer).The Council of Ministers approved in a principle on its Tuesday session to announce Tuz Khormato, Talafar and Sahal Nineveh as provinces, ,meanwhile other districts demanded to announce them as provinces.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”The conference was attended by the members of the provincial council of Dhi-Qar province, and the conference resulted in forming an official delegation chaired by the presidency of the local government and religious figures as well as chieftains to deliver the Presidency of the Cabinet the request of the district related to endorse the resolution of announcing the district as a province.” \END\
