Sudanese Minister expresses his desire to visit Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Khartoum, Mr. Salih Hussain Ali, met Mr. Ahmed Saad Omer, Minister Cabinet Affairs in Sudan on the occasion of his accession to Office.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways of developing and activating official visits between the two Countries.”

“The Sudanese Minister reiterated Sudan’s position in support of the Government and people of Iraq in its fight against the forces of terror and darkness, also praised the decision of the Iraqi Council of Ministers approving the oil loan to Sudan,” the statement continued.

“The Minister expressed his desire to visit Iraq to open new horizons of cooperation between the two brotherly countries,” the statement concluded.
