Gunmen in Fallujah form Military Council, reject Anbar initiative

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The gunmen in Fallujah city, including the elements of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant, formed a Military Council and announced their rejection of the initiatives of the Anbar local government.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Council is called the Military Council for Fallujah Revolutionists and comprises the Islamic Army, Mohammed’s Army Brigades, Asad Allah Brigades, Hammas of Iraq, Omer Brigade, Fallujah Revolutionists, Fallujah sons and the ISIL.”

“The Military Council comprises most of the armed groups that rejected the initiative of the local government to settle the crisis which makes the military option as the most likely to be followed,” the source concluded.
