Mladenov denounces attacking Nijaifi’s convoy in Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Iraq, Nikolay Mladenov, strongly condemned the attack on Speaker Nijaifi’s convoy yesterday in Mosul. A statement by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq cited “Mladenov urged political leaders to unite in order to deter the terrorists.” Earlier, six members of Nijaifi’s guards were injured yesterday when a roadside bomb explosion targeted his convoy in the main Street which is located south of Mosul.
