Policeman wounded in Zayouna

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was wounded due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device to the east of Baghdad.Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting a police patrol passing through Zayouna area of eastern Baghdad,” noting that ”The explosion of the IED resulted in wounding a policeman of the patrol.””The security forces attended the explosion area and transported the wounded policeman to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
