Urgent – Heavy clashes erupt in Ramadi

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Heavy clashes have erupted between the security forces and the gunmen of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria in different areas of Ramadi.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Monday “Heavy clashes erupted between the Iraqi Army supported by tribes against ISIS elements in Siramic Street which is the southern entrance of Tamim area to the west of Ramadi city.”

“The clashes also erupted in Baker neighborhood and 60 Street within the IA campaign supported by the tribes of Anbar to clear these areas from the ISIS gunmen,” the source concluded.
