Colonel survives assassination in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Diyala Traffic Directorate survived an assassination attempt when an Improvised Explosive Device went off in Baquba city.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting the motorcade of, Colonel Mohamed al-Tamimi, the Commander of Diyala Traffic near Saad Camp at the entrance of Baquba city.”The source did not mentioned any further information related to the human casualties and the material damages due to the explosion.
