Nijaifi, Iranian Counterpart discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The palriamnt Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, disussed with Ali Larijani, Iran’s Parliament Speaker regional affairs , especially the Syrian issue . A statement by Nijaifi’s Office received by IraqiNews.com that “The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Ninth Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held in Tehran, where they discussed the bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them to ensure the common interests.” The statement added “The two sides also discussed, in the presence of the delegation accompanying Nijaifi, the importance of holding this conference because of its active role in launching and discussing the problems facing the Muslim peoples , in addition to discussing the Palestinian issue , stressing the need for solidarity of everyone in order to support this historical issue.”
