Urgent – Intense security measures imposed near Basra Central Prison

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The Security Committee within Basra Provincial Council assured imposed intense security measures near Basra Central Prison due to receiving intelligent information over an attempt to storm into it.

The head of the Committee, Jabbar al-Seidi, stated “The intense security measures were imposed near and around the Prison after receiving the information over the intention of armed groups to storm into it where no prisoners have escaped from this prison before as stated in some media outlets.”
