Basra warns from deterioration of security, service situations

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The local government in Basra warned from the deterioration of the security and service situations, requesting the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to support the security forces.

The spokesperson of the Governor of Basra, Emad al-Hassani, stated on Facebook “The Governor of Basra, Majid al-Nasrawi, sent an official request to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, requesting him to support the security forces in the province.”

“Due to the latest security developments in Basra and Iraq, Nasrawi requested Maliki to support the security forces in Basra and increase their number,” he concluded.
