Shahristani to IraqiNews.com : 2014 State Budget to be endorsed though boycott of Kurdish MPs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier for Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shahristani, expected that the 2014 State Budget will be endorsed despite the boycott of Kurdish MPs.Shahristani mentioned in a private interview with the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”According to the current events in the Parliament, the State Budget project will be endorsed though the boycott of the MPs affiliated to the Kurdistani Alliance.””The Parliament conducted the second read of the State Budget law draft when the Parliament achieved the quorum since the State Budget can not be delayed if Kurdish MPs continued in boycotting the Parliament where other sides will attend the sessions of the Parliament and they will endorse the State Budget project,” he added.”Shahristani accused Kurdish MPs of misunderstanding the Constitution, hoping that, other sides should understand that boycotting the Parliament is not a solution and all related sides should attend the Parliament and discuss their suggestions or notes,” he concluded. \END\
