14 IA soldiers killed southern Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) 14 Iraqi Army soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive house was detonated in Bakir neighborhood of southern Ramadi.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Friday “Gunmen have set explosives inside a house in Bakir neighborhood of southern Ramadi to detonate the house while it was raided by the IA elements,” noting that “The explosion of the house resulted in killing 14 IA soldiers.”

The source added “The soldiers were trying to dismantle the explosives and take out the IEDs from the house to prepare the house for the return of its residents.”
