FM Undersecretary, EU Countries Ambassadors in Iraq discuss efforts to settle Ukrainian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Undersecretary for bilateral relations, Mr. Nizar Alkharallah met Ambassadors of EU countries accredited to Iraq. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, they discussed the repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis and its impact on the situation in the region and the world and its threat to international security and peace.”

“They also discussed appeal to Iraq as a member of Arab League and the United Nations to support international efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully through and support for diplomatic solutions.”

“The meeting was attended by Chairman Protocol, and Deputy Chairman Europe Department and official of European Union desk,” the statement concluded.
