Maliki urges to promote national unity in Bahris area

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The Federal Government decided to recruit (100) persons from the residents of each area that witness repeated security breaches and military operations within the ranks of the security forces to assume protecting their areas.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported that ”The Commander of the Grounds Operations, Lieutenant General Ali Ghaidan, accompanied by the commander of Dejla Operations Command, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Zaidi, and the Chairman of Diyala Provincial Council, Muthana al-Tamimi, held a meeting with the chieftains and elders of Bahris area on Tuesday.”The meeting tackled the current security situation and compensating the people who affected due to terrorism and military operations,” the correspondent added.The correspondent continued saying that ”The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, conducted a phone call during a meeting in which he delivered a statement for all the attendances and he urged them to promote the national unity and reject the sectarian sedition.” ”After the end of the phone call of Maliki, Ghaidan declared recruiting (100) person from the residents of each area that witness repeated security breaches and military operations within the ranks of the security forces to assume protecting their areas,” the correspondent concluded.Bahris area of Diyala province witness tense security situation that resulted in displacing many families while the Provincial Council of Diyala held an urgent meeting to discuss the security situation. \END\
