Government submits complaint against parliament chairmanship for not discussing Budget law on Thursday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The government submitted a complaint to the Federal Court against the parliament chairmanship over not including the Budget law within the parliament sessions.

The head of the State of Law Bloc, Khalid al-Atea, stated in a press conference “We submitted seven requests signed by 50 MPs to the parliament chairmanship for including the Budget law in the parliament sessions due to its importance for Iraq, but the parliament chairmanship did not include it within Thursday session.”

“The Council of Ministers submitted a complaint to the Federal Court over this issue and to settle it,” he concluded.
