Absence of parliamentary supervisory role consolidate corruption, says Jaafary

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, assured that lack of supervisory role of the parliament is behind the spread of corruption.

A statement by Jaafary’s office received by IraqiNews.com “Jaafary received “Corruption lead to stealing Iraqi resources and caused huge rate of poverty among Iraqis.”

“The voters must be aware that the parliament nominates the excusive and judicial authorities so that they have to choose the qualified figures for the parliament,” the statement concluded.
