32 female candidates compete for each parliamentary seat

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) IraqiNews.com statistics reveal a tight competition among female candidates for each available parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.

The statistics prepared by IraqiNews.com show that 2607 female candidates are competing for 81 seats that have been allocated to women according to the Iraqi constitution.

Every 32 female candidate competes for 1 parliamentary seat wherein some provinces have an increased ratio of 58 female candidates for every available seat. In Kurdistan Region the ratio is 10 female candidates for every available parliamentary seat.
