Hearing to discuss oil exports via Kurdistan Region without Baghdad approval urged by Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee called the parliament to hold urgent session over exporting the Iraqi oil BY Kurdistan Region without the approval of the Central Government.

The Deputy Head of the Energy Committee, Ali al-Fayyad, stated to IraqiNews.com “Exporting the oil from Kurdistan Region without the approval of Baghdad is a clear violation to the Iraqi constitution and the rights of the Iraqi people.”

He stressed the necessity of “Holding an urgent parliament session to discuss this issues.”
