Maliki replaced by Shihristani to lead Iraq’s delegation to China

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein Al-Shahristani will chair the Iraqi delegation instead of the Prime Minister, Nouri Al-Maliki to attend the CICA Conference in China.

PM Media Advisor, Ali Al-Musawi said “Because of his numerous obligations, the Prime Minister decided to empower the Deputy Prime Minister, Shahristani to head the Iraqi delegation to Shanghai to take part in the CICA Conference scheduled in current week.”

Musawi had announced earlier that Maliki will visit China first of next week in response to an official invitation to attend the 4th Conference for the CICA in Shanghai in which more than twenty countries including Iraq, China, India, Russia, Egypt, Iran, South Korea, UAE, Turkey and others will attend.

The Conference will center on enhancing the cooperation among these countries to stabilize the security in Asia and defeat the terrorism and adopt the dialogue in resolving the international disputes.
