24 players attend training session of Iraqi youth football team

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Youth Football Team held its first training session on Tuesday in the Shaab Stadium with attendance of 24 players from different Iraqi clubs, except for Zawra and Dohuk clubs, to prepare the team for the Arab Cup Championship to be held in Qatar from June 2nd till June 15th.

Coach of the Iraqi team Rahim Hamid stated to IraqiNews.com “The first training session for the Iraqi team lasted for two hours to estimate the technical and physical capacities of each player before joining the Arab and Asian championships.”

He added “Eight teams will participate in the Arab Cup Championship which will be hosted by Doha, the Qatari Capital.”
