Iranian laborers killed, injured in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Ten labors, among them Iranian workers, were either injured or killed due to a bomb explosion that took place northeastern Baquba city, the center of Diyala province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A bomb exploded at the road heading to Imam Weis of northern Muqdadiya, targeting a motorcade transporting labors hired by an Iranian company to extend an oil pipeline in the area.”

“The explosion resulted in killing five labors and injuring five others,” the source added.

“The injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment while the dead labors were transported to the morgue,” the source concluded.
