Basra demonstrate for electricity [06/09/2014]

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of citizens demonstrated in Basra province on Friday evening to protest the deterioration of the electricity power supplies in the province.

The demonstrators who gathered in Baghdad Street of central Basra mentioned that “the electricity power supplies is deteriorated day after day but the reactions of the ministry or the local government still beyond the ambitions.”

The demonstrators demanded specialized authorities to improve the electricity supplies since Basra is known for its hot weather.
