FM Undersecretary, Egyptian Ambassador discuss arrangements for visit of Egyptian official to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Undersecretary for bilateral relations, Mr. Nizar Alkharallah received this morning 06/05/2014, the Egyptian Ambassador accredited to Iraq.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “At the beginning of the meeting, the Undersecretary congratulated the Egyptian people to be elected its new president, hoping to Egypt more security, progress and stability, stressing on the importance of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.”

“The two sides discussed the most important shared files and practical ways to activate them and the need to overcome the obstacles, if any. They also discussed the arrangements for the visit of the Assistant of the Egyptian foreign minister to Iraq next week,” the statement concluded.
