Arab-EU Ministers affirm their support of Iraq against terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) In light of the active participation of the Iraqi delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari in the third meeting of Arab foreign ministers and the European Union held in Greece (Athens) on the morning of June 11, 2014, the Arabs and Europeans ministers confirmed their support for the Government of Iraq in its war against terrorism and expressed their deep concern over the acts of terrorism and sabotage suffered by citizens and state institutions by terrorist elements.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “Mr. Minister in his speech to the meeting, presented a briefing on developments in the impact of the attack of terrorist elements on the city of Mosul, and he demanded that the meeting to take solid position in support of Iraq and assisting it in the war against terrorism, which is not only a source of instability in Iraq, but throughout the region and in Europe itself.”
