Dhi-Qar tightens security protection for oil facilities, companies

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The local government of Dhi-Qar Province revealed its decision to increase the security protection for the foreign oil companies operating in the province.

The Governor of Dhi-Qar Yehya al-Nasiri stated to IraqiNews.com “All the foreign oil companies operating in the oil fields in the province continue their work without being affected by the general security situation in Iraq.”

“The local government and the tribes of Dhi-Qar are working to secure the work sites of these companies,” he added.

He assured “All the oil fields are secured completely and work at the full production capacity.”
