Zebari, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia discuss ways to improve bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince, Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, received on June 19, 2014 Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between Iraq – Saudi Arabia, ways to improve them, remove the stress reasons, understand the suffering of Iraqis and stand with them in the face of terrorism and extremism and fend off the risks that threaten its future and existence.”

“Minister Zebari presented a number of practical proposals to overcome the obstacles and to cooperate in order to support the security and stability of the region and to put the bilateral relations in their natural course,” the statement added.

“He pointed out that Iraq expects from all the brotherly and neighboring countries a constructive and positive interaction to pass the current crisis in order to protect its own future, national unity, and welfare of its people,” the statement concluded.
