Hakim urges for enhancing Iraq’s stance in combating ISIL terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called for consolidating Iraq’s stance in confronting terrorism of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News cited “Hakim met Iraq’s Ambassador to the United States, Luqman al-Faili, at his office on Tuesday.”

“Hakim stressed the necessity of taking care of the Iraqis reside the US,” the statement added.

“Both sides discussed the political and security updates in the country,” the statement concluded.
