Maliki: Baghdad is safe and cannot be harmed by terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister and Commanding General of the Iraqi Armed Forces Nouri al-Maliki assured that “Baghdad is safe and cannot be harmed by terrorism.”

Maliki mentioned during his visit to the headquarter of Baghdad Operations Command “I urge the leaders of the Iraqi Army to show respect to the volunteers since their mission is to support the Iraqi Army,” noting that “Some sides attempt to hurdle holding the first session of the Parliament after their failure in foiling the parliamentary elections.”

“The terrorists cannot do any action in Baghdad or any other place in Iraq since the security forces are ready to settle the battle on all fronts,” Maliki stressed.

Maliki also called to avoid rumors since the terrorist groups have implemented the psychological aspect in their war in Iraq.
