Iran: Remnants of Saddam’s regime, Takfiri groups will be stopped

Iranian Deputy FM: Takfiri groups will not be allowed to put regional security at risk
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said on Tuesday that Iran and Russia have common stance vis-à-vis the issue of Iraq as well as the need to fight terrorists in the country.

In a statement reviewed by IraqiNews.com, he said “the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terror operations in Iraq are psychological warfare to stir up horror by the summary execution of the youth and the cold-blood crimes against humanity, but, the timely action of the Iraqi government and religious decree by Ayatollah Sistani changed the situation.”

“Remnants of the former regime and Takfiri groups will not be allowed to put regional security at risk,” he said warning “The governments seeking to make instrumental use of the terrorists.”
