Maliki: ISIL declaration of Caliphate a threat to entire region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed “There is a fierce attack that targets eliminating Iraq’s national achievements.”

In his weekly address, Maliki said “The terrorists want to terminate the entity of Iraq so we have to keep on protecting it.”

“Announcing the Caliphate by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant is a message for the regional countries that they became a target for the terrorist groups,” he concluded.
