Iraq Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari receives Special envoy of China to Middle East

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, Minister of Foreign Affairs received today Mr. Wu Sike Special envoy of Republic of China to Middle East.

The Chinese envoy delivered to the Minister of Foreign Affairs a letter from Mr. Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in which he said that the Chinese side is a sincere friend of Iraq firmly supports Iraq’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and supports Iraq’s efforts to speed up the process of political reconstruction and national reconciliation. It also demands that all Iraqi leaders to promote unity and restore stability and normal order in the country as soon as possible.

He also expressed that the Chinese side is ready to continue to provide its utmost to support the Iraqi side according to their needs.

Mr. Hoshyar Zebari shared the Iraqi Government’s vision of the crisis because of what terrorist groups of ISIS and the organizations under its banner constitute of risks to the safety and security of the region and the world and the commitment of the government to defeat terrorism, extremism and the restoration of security and control over the provinces that fell into the hands of terrorists as well as the commitment to the political process after the elections in order to form a Government of national unity representing all Iraqi people.
