PM Maliki and Egyptian President Sisi discuss Iraq security situation

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, discussed with the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi the situation in Iraq and the region by telephone.

An informed source said to IraqiNews.com that “the Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki spoke by telephone with Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. They discussed the situation and security developments in Iraq and the region.”

The source, who asked not to be named, said that “Sisi reiterated his country’s support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and rejected calls to divide it.”
