Nineveh Governor rules out releasing passports for Nineveh citizens from new system

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Nineveh province, Atheel al-Nijaifi, ruled out issuing new passports to the citizens in Nineveh from new system.

In his personal account on Facebook, he said “Installing a new system to issue passports for the citizens of Nineveh in safe areas is difficult where we contacted the Ministry of Interior and it informed us of the nature of the difficulty.”

“We aim at opening inlets with Kurdistan Region, but still waiting for the approval of the Federal Government,” he concluded. /End/
