British PM: ‘We can’t pull out of fighting ISIS, they want to kill us in Britain’

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) David Cameron tonight warned that it was not possible to ‘opt out of’ fighting ISIS – because they were out to kill us in Britain. 

The Prime Minister, speaking on US television, said the terrorist fanatics had Britain ‘in their sights’ as he tried to drum up support for military action.

It came after Ed Miliband this afternoon demanded a full UN Security Council resolution to authorise military action on ISIS.

The Labour leader’s intervention, at the start of his set-piece conference speech today, puts a major roadblock in the way of British involvement in the bombing campaign launched by US forces overnight. 

The Prime Minister is expected to consult Labour before recalling Parliament on Friday to authorise Britain’s involvement in the military campaign. /End/
