Iraqi Army, tribal forces liberate most of Diyala Province from ISIS says MoD

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Monday the Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced that 100 ISIS terrorists were killed and 16 villages were redeemed in Diyala Province.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “The military operations accompanied by the armed clans’ campaigns managed to liberate most of Diyala Province.”

Earlier in the same day, the leader in Sadrist Movement, Hakim al-Zameli said that the ISIS military commander in Diyala Province was killed and 4 other leaders were captured.
