8 ISIS militants detained, seized weapons by Kirkuk police

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Kirkuk province stated on Sunday, that the province’s security forces managed to detain 8 elements of the ISIS group and seized a big amount of weapons from them.

The source informed IraqiNews, that a police force detained 8 ISIS fighters during a security operation in Laylan area, 25 km south east of Kirkuk. “The security operation resulted in 8 ISIS elements detained and seizing a big amount of weapons, gear and ammunition.” said the source.
