350 explosives deactivated by Iraqi forces in Jurf al-Shakher

Babel (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday the head of the security committee in northern Babel, Tamer Zibyan, announced that Iraqi explosive experts have managed to destroy and deactivate 350 explosive devices planted in Jurf al-Sakher.

Zibyan informed IraqiNews.com that “Iraqi security forces and explosive experts have destroyed and deactivated 350 explosive devices (IEDs) that were planted in and around the area of clashing in Jurf al-shakher. The bomb traps were set on the roads and palm trees field.”

The governor of Karbala, Aqeel al-Tarehi, has said on Friday that Iraqi forces and tribal fighters liberated the area of Jurf al-Shaker in northern Babel from ISIS control
