ISIS crucifies 8 opposition fighters in eastern Syria
(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, 8 fighters in the opposition Brigades were executed then crucified by the the so-called Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) after turning themselves in the Syrian city of Abu Kamal, located on the border with Iraq— according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
A statement from the observatory said that the victims were charged of fighting ISIS, pointing out that the execution and the crucifying took place at in the town of Abu Kamal in the eastern countryside of the city of Deir ez-Zor.
