ISIS release 93 Kurdish hostages says Syrian Observatory

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the ISIS group has released 93 Kurdish hostages in Manbij village near Aleppo city in Syria.

The Syrian Observatory announced, “Last February, The ISIS group kidnapped about 100 persons, accusing them of belonging to the Kurdish Democratic Union party. Yesterday the extremist group released 93 Kurdish hostages in Manbij village near Aleppo. The ISIS militants kept seven hostages as they were accused of theft.”

Ramy Abdul-Rahman, the director of the observatory has said, “About 53 persons from the Kurds released by ISIS on Monday (Nov. 3th) have moved towards the Turkish border.” It is believed that the group is still keeping around 70 hostages from Kurds it kidnapped earlier this year.
