Bahraini Football Association Apologizes for not hosting Iraqi team’s training camp

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Association confirmed cancelling the training camp scheduled on Thursday in Bahrain within the preparations for the finals of the Khaliji Cup 22 for technical reasons.

Deputy Chairman of IFA, Sharar Haider stated to IraqiNews.com “IFA received on last Wednesday an apology from the Bahraini counterpart for not hosting the training camp of the Iraqi National team for technical reasons related to the stadiums in Bahrain.”

Haider added “The team will join an interior training camp next Saturday for four before travelling to Riyadh city in the KSA.”

The Iraqi team plays in Khaliji Cup 22 within the second group which comprises the Emirati team, and both teams of Oman and Kuwait.

The Iraqi team will face the Kuwaiti counterpart on November 14 in the beginning of its marathon in this championship. /End/
